How PostSafe Works:
When an arson attack occurs PostSafe works in four ways; The sealed unit holds holds the flammable material, including liquids, preventing the fire from spreading

  • The neoprene seal around the opening ensures that the PostSafe is airtight, this starves the fire of oxygen, extinguishing it at this point in most cases.
  • If the fire persists, the automatic fire extinguisher will discharge at 57° Celcius.
  • Because it is heavier than air the gas from the fire extinguisher remains within the PostSafe preventing the flammable material from being re-ignited.
  • The ‘PostSafe’ anti-arson mailbox accommodates all normal mail and newspapers.
